How it works

Spray Polyurethane Foam is closed cell foam that easily bonds to various shapes and substrates, meaning it is a perfect waterproofing solution to typical problem areas like roof transitions, ridge caps, and air conditioner units. The foam’s structure stops lateral water movement and simplifies repairs. This roofing system also adds structural strength to your roof deck (one inch of spray foam is equivalent to a 5/8 inch sheet of plywood) and is proven to lower energy costs. Our EnergyStar-rated elastomeric base coat and white elastomeric topcoat reflect as much as 85% of the sun’s UV rays and the foam adds insulation value of R-6.5 per inch.

The coating system can be applied to many different surfaces, including metal, wood, concrete, bur/modified bitumen, and composite decking. Our Spray Foam Applicator is certified by the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance’s Professional Certification Program (SPFA PCP).

What kind of roof is best for Spray Polyurethane Foam?

The Spray Polyurethane Foam System is a particularly smart solution for modified bitumen and tar and gravel roofs. An asphalt-based system like modified bitumen has seams and weak spots that are vulnerable to leaks, and money is wasted on higher energy costs due to the dark color of the roof and heat retention. Our Spray Poly Foam System is seam-free and lowers energy costs with the white reflective topcoat and the foam’s added insulation.
The problem with tar and gravel roofs is their weight, which can compromise the structural integrity of a building. Our system will leave you with a strong and durable roof that is much lighter and structurally superior for your building.
